Six Captivating Paranormal Romance Novels With Angels

Paranormal romance is a genre for romance fanatics who can’t ignore the lure of the incredible fantastic elements of stories. What makes paranormal romances with angels so enticing, though, is that glistening, white-light allure that angelic figures in most forms of literature emit. And cozy romances where the going is rough, but the protagonist is saved by their powerful watcher, their angel? Or maybe, the protagonist their self is the angel, and they’re the one that needs saving?

That’s even better.

Here are 6 paranormal romance novels with angels to make reading romance just that much more illuminating.

1) Angels & Demons: The Complete Series by Megan Linski

A trilogy sold as a one-book set, this series has garnered lots of attention. The three books included are Torrent, Torture, and Truth.

Cassia thought she was leaving a life of sadness and stress behind following the death of her mother and the disappearance of her father until she met two guys, complete opposites, who would change her life forever. Thrust into the supernatural world of angels and demons, Cassia is dragged between the world of the bad boy, Thames, and the kind star athlete, Cairo as she completes her final year of high school. Hunted by supernatural monsters and unsure of how to survive, Cassia wonders if she should lean on Heaven or Hell.

2) Dark Stranger: The Dream (The Children of the Gods, #1) by I.T. Lucas

The world in this novel is split by two warring ruling classes descended from the ancient gods and goddesses. It’s a well-kept secret that Syssi, gifted with paranormal foresight, walks into the moment she takes a job at neuroscience professor, Dr. Amanda Dokani’s, Los Angeles lab. What she doesn’t suspect is that Dr. Dokani’s brother, leading his clan into this battle, is the nightly visitor of her dreams. And bound by the clan’s prohibition forbidding members to become lovers with one another and repelled by hatred for the only other immortals in town, Kai is lonely. Until his sister makes a surprising discovery.

3) Archangel’s Kiss (The Cursed Angels, #1) by Anna Santos

After Aria is saved by a monstrous savior fit only for the worst nightmares, she believes her luck to have run out. It’s only when her monster turns out to be a winged prince of the sky that she realizes that her fate is meant to be entirely different that it at first appeared. She’s to be the antidote to the potion to the Angel Prince’s curse—doomed to turn to stone if not for the gift of true love. Just when all is performing well, Aria is captured in a love triangle between her prince and a king, a Vampire King.

4) Her Guardian Angel (Her Angel: Eternal Warriors, #1) by Felicity Heaton

Marcus, appearing to Amelia one random day as her next door neighbor, is not anyone’s average “Mr. Right.” As the guarding angel responsible for watching over Amelia since birth, Marcus feels dutiful of his involvement with her; however, duty suddenly becomes more when his superiors order him to deceive Amelia, gain her trust through seduction while pretending to be human. Amelia notices, however, that something isn’t normal about this “Mr. Right” after he saves her from demonic adversaries on three separate occasions, dragging her into a dangerous adventure involving both Heaven and Hell.

5) Dust of My Wings (Dante’s Circle, #1) by Carrie Ann Ryan

Lily Banner finds herself thrust into a world of trouble when her job at a lab opens the door to an array of supernatural happenings fanned right under her nose. Now unwittingly involved in a supernatural war, Lily needs help—and it comes, unexpectedly, from an angel warrior named Shade Griffin. Shade is responsible for protecting the secrets of the paranormals and, as far as he knows, that’s his only task. However, he meets Lily, who’s being targeted by powerful foes, and he’s drawn to her. Suddenly his task experiences a sharp change in plans.

6) Angel of the Crypt by C.J. Laurence

Makeysha is a fallen angel who, cursed and alone so long, is unwilling to give Ronan, a human demon hunter, the chance to prove his love. Ronan isn’t strong enough to survive her immense power. She won’t burden Ronan so she can escape her lonely fate. But she wants happiness, and Ronan can give it to her… Just when she’s planning to make her choice, Makeysha and Ronin are forced to take action as Lucifer bids to gain control of Heaven and dominate once and for all. It’s dangerous. It’s especially dangerous for Ronin—but Makeysha knows they have no choice.

At this point, I’ve picked one of these novels to read, myself. If you haven’t, then you’re falling behind. Pick one already.

These angels can’t be left waiting!
